Last Place Patrol
At a camporee, one patrol finished dead last in every event. Fire building, knots, first aid, all of it. On the bus ride home, another troop started teasing them. One of the younger Scouts in that patrol stood up and said, "We're last, and we're still the best patrol I've ever been in." Everyone in the patrol started laughing, and the teasing just stopped.
A Scout is Loyal. Loyalty means sticking with your people when things go well and when they don't. It means you don't turn your back on your friends, your family, or your troop just because they are having a hard day.
This week, stand up for someone in your group. Say something good about them when they are not around. Being loyal is not just about cheering at the finish line. It's about staying in the race together.
